THE BEGINNING
Diya was just 8 and Kumbha came to propose her with a red rose (Typical retro style). Still, the heartbeat sounds like next person heard the beat. It was almost 90 beats/min. Our hero Kumbha was 2 feet away from Diya. Kumbha went near to her and took the rose out. By giving the rose to Diya.. Kumbha said I like you and want to live with you till the end of our life.. exactly the way he proposed was “Enaku unna pidichirku Diya.. Namma vazhkaila kadasivaraikum unnoda vazhanum nu aasa padran.. nee yosichu un badhila sollu”.
Diya did not even understand what he tried but stubbornly she said “No”. Second time Kumbha failed at his attempt. Still Diya was a good friend for Kumbha. Kumbha never asked about the love again. Their life was going like as it designed. Diya’s little sister growing up and she was also good at studies. Kumbha’s younger sister was good at studies and activities.
In between, there was a family fight in Kumbha’s family. All sorted out and houses changed. Kumbha and Diya’s houses are separated by a street. Before they both were in the same apartment. Now Diya’s family moved to the next street merely a lane. Kumbha used to go and watch her at the street end along with his friends. But now Diya grown up so stopped playing with Kumbha and literally stopped talking with him. Kumbha got upset a little but not fed up. His heart was spoken like “she is in love with you machan. You don’t leave her she is your girl forever”. Yes.. May be or may not be Diya also felt the same thoughts.
That might be the reason behind stopped everything with Kumbha and not stopped watching him behind.
